Swimming Lessons
We take each student on a water adventure as they learn water
safety skills from diving to advanced strokes.
Our instructors are American Red Cross Certified in water safety.

Special Needs Aquatic Program
We are now offering a swim class for special needs children (age 3+) and an Adult. These lessons will be offered at 9 am during swim session 2-5. (Sign-ups for this program begin May 4). Please call us for more information at (435) 843-4035.

Lessons are offered at 9:00 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:15 a.m.
*Lessons are Monday - Thursday only. There are 8 classes to a session and are 35 minutes each day. We have eliminated playtime from our lessons and no classes on Fridays.
Each session has eight classes. Students will receive a two week swim pass on the first day of lessons.
Registration begins Monday, May 3, 2010, at 9 am. Signup's will continue daily Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until the pool opens. Payment is due at the time of registration. The fee is $30.00 for one student or $27.50 each for more than one student. Call 843-4035 for registration information.

Swimming Lesson Guidelines
- Mom & Tot
Introductory course for one adult and one child ages 18 months
to 2 years. Familiarize your child to the water with fun and
educational group activities.
- 3 & 4 year olds
Introductory course to water safety and skills. Helps child
feel more comfortable and secure in the water. This class is broken up into beginner and advanced.
- Level 1
Fully submerge face. Demonstrate supported floating and kicking
on the stomach and back. Demonstrate alternating arm action.
- Level 2
Fully submerge head and retrieve objects from the bottom. Float,
kick, and use the arms on the stomach and back - unsupported.
Turn over, back to front and front to back.
- Level 3
Dive in from the side from kneeling or compact position. Swim
front crawl with breathing and back crawl - 10 yards.
- Level
4
Swim front crawl with breathing and back crawl - 25 yards.
Swim elementary - 10 yards. Breaststroke and scissor kick -
10 yards. Tread water 2 minutes. Standing front dive.
- Level 5
Swim breaststroke and sidestroke - 10 yards. Dolphin kind -
10 yards. Swim 3 body lengths underwater. Swim elementary backstroke
- 25 yards. Swim front and back crawl - 50 yards.
- Level 6
Swim front and back crawl - 100 yards. Swim breaststroke and
sidestroke - 25 yards. Swim butterfly - 10 yards. Flip open
turns, surface dive.
- Level 7
Swim 500 yards. Swim front crawl - 200 yards. Swim back crawl
- 100 yards. Swim breaststroke and sidestroke - 50 yards. Swim
butterfly - 25 yards. Front dive from the diving board.
