2009 Benson Grist Mill Events

Mill Opens - 1- May-2009

Fun At The Mill - 18-June-2009 10:00 am - Noon
Come learn about the pioneers and play the games the pioneer children played. Children of all ages can join in activities and games. Children ages 7-14 are invited to participate in free competitions of jacks, marbles or jumping rope. Sign up at the Mill and pick up a copy of the rules. Every child will receive an award and grand prizes will be awarded. For more information, contact the Benson Grist Mill at (435) 882-7678.

Pioneer Jubilee - 11-July-2009, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Take a walk back in time and join us for a Pioneer celebration sponsored by the Tooele, Utah Daughters of Pioneers. Enjoy live entertainment, Pioneer demonstrations, children’s games, food and much more. Admission is free. For more information please contact the Benson Grist Mill at (435) 882-7678

Harvest Days (Formerly 'Farmers Market') -
Every Saturday, September 5 - October 10, 2009,
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
The Harvest Days craft fair and flea market at the Benson Grist Mill will run from 9am to 1pm every Saturday from August 23 through October 18, 2008. Anyone who makes hand crafted items or has yard sale items are welcome to bring these goods to sell. There is a one time $10 vendor fee for participating. Museum Day - Septemer 12, 2009

Pumpkin Walk - October 16-17, 2009 - 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Join us down by the Old Mill Scream at the Benson Grist Mill’s 12th Annual Pumpkin Walk! Take a walk around the Mill and see all the pumpkin scenes created by local businesses.
